Carpe Diem Catholic Student Leadership Conference

Thursday & Friday May 24-25, 2012

King's is pleased to announce the 8th Annual Catholic Student Leadership Conference!

Our theme of "Carpe Diem" reflects our desire to encourage students to "seize" every opportunity to further develop their leadership skills and to try "each and every day" to be mindful of their faith and gifts. The conference is a one day event offered over two days: May 24 or May 25, 2012 at King's giving students the choice of which day they would like to attend. We are providing a duplicate program for both Thursday and Friday giving you the choice of which day you would like to attend. If you are travelling a distance, we would like to extend the invitation for you to arrive the night prior (either Wednesday, May 23 or Thursday, May 24) to stay in our residence complementary of King's with dinner and breakfast included.

Our objective is to offer students with either demonstrated or potential leadership skills the opportunity to develop and strengthen Catholic Student Leadership in our schools and communities through interaction with other student leaders as well as inspirational and informative workshops.

We have provided the following letters of introduction for yourselves as well as to send home to parents.  For teachers, if you are coming from a distance and are planning to bring students to stay with us the night prior, please have their parents fill out the parent permission forms and submit them back to our office.

Thanks! We look forward to welcoming you!
