Andrea Bezaire

Andrea graduated from King's in 2002 with a BA (Honors) in Political Science. In her third year, she obtained the Political Science Award fro having achieved the highest overall average in that program. During Andrea's time at King's, she was an active member of the community as a student rep on the Board of Directors, VP of Student Issues of the students' council, an orientation soph and was voted Valedictorian of her graduating class.

Following her time at King's, Andrea went to law school and graduated with her LLB in 2005. She was called to the Bar of the Province of Ontario in 2006. Prior to her return to southwestern Ontario to join Siskinds LLP, she summered, articled and was employed as an associate in the Toronto office of a national law firm.

Currently, Andrea's law practice at Siskinds is restricted to the representation of management in labour and employment matters. While she acts on the full range of issues that affect employers, Andrea has a special interest in the evolving area of privacy law.

Andrea continues to be involved in extracurricular activities. Currently she is an instructor at Fanshawe College teaching a course in labour and employment law. In addition, Andrea, is a Director on the Big Brothers, Big Sisters of London and a member of the Human Resource Professionals of London as well as a member of the Strathroy and District Chamber of Commerce.

In her spare time, Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband Derek and the rest of her family and friends. She is an avid downhill skier and has recently taken up golf.
